Sr. Data Operations Analyst

Job Description

Role Summary

The Level 3 Sr Data Operations Analyst is responsible for executing day-to-day production cycles with defined quality and timelines. The role focuses on data validation, issue resolution, process adherence, and supporting automation and improvement initiatives within NielsenIQ’s Consumer Information Platform (CIP).

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Execute production cycles on time with required quality standards

Perform input operations and data validation across assigned markets

Identify data issues, support RCA, and communicate errors to stakeholders

Collaborate with onshore, offshore, and cross-functional teams

Follow and support documentation of standard operating processes

Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements

Execute basic automation using SQL, R, Python, or Excel macros

Support CIP deployments and adoption of tool enhancements

Track and report KPIs related to data accuracy and on-time delivery

Operate effectively in a virtual, multi-cultural environment

Qualifications

Minimum 18 months experience in data/analytics/operations roles

Bachelor’s degree (Maths, stats preferred)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Working proficiency in English (written & verbal)

Exposure to SQL/R/Python and large datasets; awareness of ML/AI

Understanding of KPIs, process adherence, and quality metrics

Good organizational, communication, and presentation skills
