Store Manager

Job Role & Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage day-to-day store operations, including receipt, storage, issue, and record-keeping of materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and update stock registers (manual & software).
• Ensure proper GRN (Goods Receipt Note) entry, material checking, and documentation against PO / challan.
• Monitor material inward & outward movement and ensure proper authorization and tracking.
• Conduct physical stock verification (daily / weekly / monthly) and reconcile with system records.
• Coordinate with purchase department for material requirements, shortages, and reorder levels.
• Maintain storage standards — proper stacking, labeling, damage prevention, and safety compliance.
• Issue materials to site / production departments against approved requisitions.
• Maintain record of tools & machinery, including issuance, return, and service logs.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports, consumption reports.
• Handle vendor material returns, debit notes, and rejection management.
• Ensure compliance with audit requirements, documentation, and company policies.
• Supervise store staff, helpers, and ensure smooth workflow inside the store.
