Job Description

  • Key Job Responsibilities1. Technical SupportProvide first-level technical support to end users for hardware and software issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve problems related to Windows OS, applications, and system performance.
  • Support users through remote tools, phone, email, or in-person assistance.
  • 2. Hardware Installation & MaintenanceInstall and configure desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
  • Replace or upgrade hardware components such as RAM, HDD/SSD, motherboard, and power supply.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance of systems.
  • 3. Software Installation & TroubleshootingInstall and configure operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
  • Install and update office applications, antivirus, and enterprise software.
  • Troubleshoot application errors and compatibility issues.
  • 4. Network SupportAssist with LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
  • Configure IP addresses, network printers, and shared folders.
  • Support basic network troubleshooting (DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • 5. User Account & Access ManagementCreate and manage user accounts in Active Directory.
  • Reset passwords and assign system access permissions.
  • Manage email configurations (Outlook, Office 365, etc.).
  • 6. Security & System UpdatesEnsure systems are protected with antivirus and security patches.
  • Monitor and update operating system and application updates.
  • Follow company IT security policies.
  • 7. Documentation & ReportingMaintain records of IT assets and service requests.
  • Document troubleshooting steps and solutions in the ticketing system.
  • Prepare reports for IT management when required.
  • 8. IT Infrastructure SupportAssist in server room management and basic server support.
  • Support backup and data recovery processes.
  • Help with IT equipment inventory and procurement.
  • Required SkillsKnowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11)
  • Basic understanding of Networking (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP)
  • Experience with Active Directory and Office 365
  • Hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Knowledge of IT ticketing systems
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Tools Commonly UsedRemote support tools (AnyDesk, TeamViewer, Remote Desktop)
  • Ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Freshservice, Jira, etc.)
  • Windows Administration tools
  • Antivirus and security software
