Merchandiser

1. Order Management & Coordination

• Order Intake & Planning: Receive confirmed Purchase Orders (POs) from international buyers and thoroughly verify all details, including pricing, quantity, specifications (size, thickness, color, texture of the mat), and packaging.
• Time & Action (T&A) Plan: Create, manage, and continuously update a detailed T&A calendar for each order, tracking key milestones like raw material procurement, production commencement, Quality Control (QC) checks, and shipment deadlines.
• Internal Liaison: Coordinate daily with the Production, Quality Control, and Purchase departments to ensure the cow mat manufacturing aligns with the buyer's schedule and quality standards.

2. Quality Assurance & Sampling

• Sample Management: Handle all sampling requirements (e.g., proto samples, bulk lot samples, pre-shipment samples) and ensure timely submission to the buyer for approval.
• Quality Adherence: Ensure all finished goods (mats) comply with the buyer’s specified technical standards (e.g., density, anti-slip properties, lifespan, material certification).
• Inspection Coordination: Facilitate and coordinate third-party inspections (SGS, Bureau Veritas, etc.) as required by the international buyers.

3. Logistics & Documentation

• Export Documentation: Prepare, review, and finalize all export documentation accurately, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, Bill of Lading (BL), and phytosanitary/test certificates, ensuring compliance with the destination country's customs regulations.
• Freight Forwarding: Liaise with freight forwarders and shipping lines to book containers, negotiate freight rates, and ensure timely vessel loading based on the final shipment plan (FOB, CIF, or other Incoterms).
• Tracking & Reporting: Track shipments from dispatch to final delivery, providing regular, detailed status updates to the buyer and internal teams.

4. Communication & Relationship Management

• Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for international clients, providing professional, timely, and proactive communication regarding order status, approvals, and resolving any potential issues.

Problem Solving: Identify potential bottlenecks in the production or supply chain (e.g., raw material delay, production slowdown) and propose effective solutions to mitigate risks to the delivery schedule.
