Senior Environmental Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Environmental Engineer to lead and manage environmental projects, ensure regulatory compliance, and support sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental engineering, regulatory frameworks, and environmental impact assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead environmental assessments, audits, and compliance inspections at project sites.
• Prepare and review Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports and other documentation.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations (e.g., CPCB, SPCB, MoEF).
• Oversee waste management, air and water quality monitoring, and pollution control systems.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities for environmental clearances and permits.
• Implement and monitor ISO 14001 / EMS systems and sustainability initiatives.
• Train junior engineers and field staff on environmental protocols and best practices.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Develop risk mitigation and environmental management plans (EMP).

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Science.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role (preferably in infrastructure, construction, or industrial sectors).
• Strong knowledge of EIA, EMP, CPCB/SPCB regulations, ISO 14001, and environmental legislation.
• Proficiency in report writing, regulatory documentation, and stakeholder communication.
• Hands-on experience with field monitoring equipment and data analysis is a plus.
• Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills.
