Counsellor

The Salon Academy Counsellor will be responsible for guiding prospective students about various salon and beauty courses, addressing their queries, and assisting them in choosing the right program as per their interests and career goals. The role involves handling inquiries, counseling students, coordinating with trainers, and ensuring smooth admission and enrollment processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Student Counseling & Admissions

• Attend walk-ins, inquiries, and leads (offline & online).
• Counsel students about different salon & beauty courses offered by the academy.
• Provide detailed information regarding course content, fees, duration, and career opportunities.
• Convert inquiries into admissions to meet monthly targets.

Relationship Management

• Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and guardians.
• Follow up with potential students through phone calls, emails, and messages.
• Handle student grievances and provide solutions in coordination with the academy team.

Sales & Marketing Support

• Participate in seminars, workshops, and promotional events organized by the academy.
• Assist in executing marketing campaigns to attract students.
• Generate leads through references, social media, and local networking.

Coordination & Administration

• Coordinate with trainers for scheduling demo classes and orientations.
• Maintain proper documentation of student inquiries, admissions, and follow-ups.
• Prepare and maintain reports on admissions, inquiries, and conversions.
• Required Skills & Competencies:Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Persuasive & result-oriented with good sales acumen.
• Ability to understand student needs and suggest suitable courses.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer knowledge.
• Pleasant personality with a customer-first attitude.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Graduate (Bachelor’s degree in any field; preference for Marketing / Counseling / Education).
• 1–3 years of experience in student counseling, admission counseling, or sales (preferably in beauty, salon, or education sector).
