Modular Kitchen Designer

The Field Sales Designer will be responsible for meeting prospective customers at their homes/sites, understanding requirements, providing modular kitchen design solutions, preparing quotations, and closing sales. The role requires both sales ability and basic design knowledge (2D/3D).

• Visit customer premises for measurement, requirement gathering & demonstration.
• Understand customer lifestyle, layout and space utilization for kitchen planning.
• Present design concepts & material options (e.g., laminates, acrylic, hardware, accessories).
• Coordinate with internal design team for drawings, renders & BOQ.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and execute order closing.
• Follow up with customers for decision-making and payments.
• Coordinate with production & installation teams for project execution.
• Maintain CRM records, site survey data & reports.
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs.
• Skills & CompetenciesKnowledge of modular kitchen layouts (Straight / L-shape / U-shape / Island)
• Understanding of materials, finishes, hardware & accessories
• Basic measurement skills (using measuring tapes, laser meter, etc.)
• Good communication & persuasion skills
• Customer handling
• Design understanding (AutoCAD/SketchUp/2D/3D preferred)
• Market awareness & competitor knowledge
• Time management & site coordination skills
