Accountant

Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities for our manufacturing business specializing in gas analyzers and gas monitoring systems. The role includes handling books of accounts, statutory compliance, costing support, and coordination with auditors and internal teams.

• Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain books of accounts including sales, purchases, expenses, and journal entries
• Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Handle GST compliance – returns, reconciliation, e-invoicing, e-way bills
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, follow-up for payments
• Bank reconciliation statements (BRS) and cash flow monitoring
• Support manufacturing costing, inventory valuation, and stock reconciliation
• Process payroll entries, statutory deductions, and employee reimbursements
• Coordinate with CA, auditors, and tax consultants
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements
• Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation
• Assist in budgeting, MIS reports, and management reporting
• Industry-Specific ResponsibilitiesAccounting for manufacturing, assembly, and project-based sales
• Tracking costs for materials, production, installation, and service contracts
• Accounting for AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts) and service revenues
• Support tender-related financial documentation and billing
• QualificationsB.Com / M.Com / CA-Inter / ICWA (Inter)
• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Experience in manufacturing or instrumentation industry preferred
• Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax
• Hands-on experience with Tally / ERP / accounting software
• Good knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
• Understanding of inventory and manufacturing accounting
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Preferred ExperienceManufacturing of industrial instruments, analyzers, or automation systems
• Handling audits and statutory compliance independently
