Business Development Engineer: Cement and Construction Materials.
Job Descriptions:
Position Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Engineer to join our team in Mumbai. This Entry Level position is perfect for recent graduates with a degree in Civil Engineering who are passionate about the construction industry and eager to develop their sales and technical skills in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Building and maintaining new and existing relationships with clients in the construction sector, including RMC Manufacturers, contractors, builders and developers.
· Visiting the relevant sites and offices on an ongoing basis for sales and collections
· Providing technical support to customer, understanding his needs and the products applications related to cements, fly ash and GGBS (Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag).
· Collaborate with senior sales professionals to engage with clients through presentations, product demonstrations and technical consultations.
· Conduct market research to identify potential leads and track industry trends.
· Participate in relevant training and workshops to enhance knowledge of products, market dynamics and sales strategies.
· Preparation of sales proposals and technical documentation to aid in the sales process
· Attend trade shows, industry events, and meeting to represent the company and gain exposure to the market.
· Contribute to the development of marketing materials that effectively highlight products benefits and technical specifications.
Qualifications:
· Bachelors Degree in civil engineering or a related field (recent graduates are welcome).
· Strong interest in business development, sales, and the construction industry.
· Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
· Basic understanding of construction materials and their applications is required.
· Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (word Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred skills:
· A proactive attitude and eagerness to take initiative.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
