Job Overview: We are seeking skilled, dedicated candidates to join our new manufacturing unit in Vasai. The role involves end-to-end production activities, including mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, and functional testing of Electrical Control Panels and Thyristor Power Controllers.

Key Responsibilities 1. Mechanical Assembly:

• Reading and interpreting General Arrangement (GA) drawings.
• Mounting of components (MCBs, Contactors, Relays, Thyristor modules, Heat sinks) onto backplates and enclosures.
• Busbar cutting, bending, and fitting for power circuits.
• Heatsink assembly for Thyristor units (applying thermal paste, torque tightening).

2. Electrical Wiring:

• Reading electrical schematic diagrams and wiring logic circuits accordingly.
• Power wiring (Lug crimping, cable routing, termination) and Control wiring (feruling, harnessing).
• Soldering components on PCBs (if applicable) or connecting firing cards to Thyristor blocks.
• Ensuring neat dressing and proper color coding of wires as per industry standards.

3. Testing & Troubleshooting:

• Conducting "No-Load" and "Full-Load" testing of Thyristor Power Controllers.
• Performing standard panel tests: Insulation Resistance (Megger) Test and High Voltage (HV) Test.
• Troubleshooting wiring errors using Multimeters and Clamp meters.
• Calibrating temperature controllers and checking firing angles on Thyristors.

4. General:

• Maintaining production logs and test reports.
• Adhering to factory safety standards and wearing appropriate PPE.
• Packing finished goods for dispatch.

Candidate Requirements

Education:

• ITI (Electrician/Wireman/Electronics) OR
• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

Experience:

• 0 to 5 years of hands-on experience in panel building or power electronics manufacturing.
• Freshers with sound theoretical knowledge and a willingness to learn may apply.

Technical Skills:

• Ability to read electrical circuit diagrams and engineering drawings (Critical).
• Hands-on experience with hand tools (Crimping tools, Wire strippers, Drilling machines).
• Familiarity with testing equipment (Multimeter, CRO/Oscilloscope is a plus).
• Knowledge of Thyristors (SCRs), heat dissipation, and basic power electronics is highly preferred.
