Field Service Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to install, commission, service, and maintain gas analyzers at customer sites. The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, calibration, and providing technical support to ensure reliable operation of analytical instruments in industrial environments

• Key ResponsibilitiesInstallation, commissioning, and start-up of gas analyzers at customer sites
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of gas analyzers and related systems
• Calibration, validation, and performance testing of analyzers
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers
• Conduct customer training on operation and routine maintenance of instruments
• Prepare service reports, calibration records, and visit documentation
• Coordinate with manufacturing, design, and sales teams for technical issues
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Support AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) and warranty services

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in servicing gas analyzers or analytical instruments
• Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered
• ITI/Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of instrumentation and analytical principles
• Ability to read electrical drawings, P&ID, and wiring diagrams
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Basic knowledge of PLC, sensors, and industrial communication (preferred)
• Willingness to travel extensively and work at industrial sites
• Good communication and customer-handling skills
