Precast Floor Supervisor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:-

Production Supervision

1. Supervise day-to-day UHPC production activities including batching, mixing, casting, vibration, curing (steam/heat/water), demoulding, and finishing
2. Ensure production is executed as per daily, weekly, and monthly production plans
3. Monitor cycle times, mould turnover, and productivity to meet dispatch targets

Process & Quality Control

1. Ensure strict adherence to approved UHPC mix designs, batching accuracy, mixing sequence, and curing parameters
2. Monitor critical parameters such as water–binder ratio, fiber dispersion, temperature, and curing duration
3. Coordinate closely with QA/QC team to meet strength, finish, and dimensional requirements
4. Identify defects such as honeycombing, surface pinholes, cracks, or dimensional deviations and take immediate corrective action

Manpower & Labour Management

1. Supervise and deploy manpower effectively across shifts
2. Maintain labour attendance, discipline, and productivity
3. Train workmen on UHPC handling, casting techniques, and safety practices

Material & Equipment Handling

1. Ensure availability and proper handling of UHPC raw materials including cement, silica fume, quartz sand, fibers, admixtures, and pigments
2. Coordinate with stores for timely material issuance and stock control
3. Ensure proper usage and maintenance of batching plants, mixers, vibrating tables, curing chambers, and moulds

Safety & Housekeeping

1. Enforce strict safety norms and PPE usage on the shop floor
2. Ensure safe handling of fine powders, fibers, and chemicals
3. Maintain high housekeeping standards in UHPC production areas
4. Report incidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions immediately

Coordination & Reporting

1. Coordinate with planning, QA/QC, and dispatch teams for smooth workflow
2. Report daily production status, issues, and delays to the Production / Factory Manager
3. Support timely completion of production targets as per plan

Dispatch & Site Support

1. Support final inspection and approval before dispatch
2. Ensure proper handling, stacking, curing maturity, and protection of UHPC elements
3. Coordinate with site teams for technical clarifications or quality-related feedback

RequiredKey Skills:-

Educational Qualification

1. ITI / Diploma in Civil / Mechanical or equivalent (Preferred)

Additional Qualifications / certifications

1. Strong understanding of UHPC manufacturing processes
2. Ability to read basic drawings and production instructions

Prior experience

1. 2 to 5 years of experience in UHPC manufacturing
2. Hands-on experience in spraying, casting, curing, and finishing of UHPC products
3. Experience in supervising shop-floor manpower

Other skills (preferred)

1. Leadership and manpower handling skills
2. Good coordination and communication skills
3. Basic reporting and record-keeping ability
