Production Worker

Roles and Responsibilities

Production and assembly operations for manufacturing processes while ensuring quality, efficiency, and adherence to company standards.

The candidate:

1. Will be responsible for operating machines and performing assembly operations as per production requirements.
2. Will carry out tool setting and assist in machine setup activities.
3. Will ensure timely completion of assigned production tasks as per schedule.
4. Will help QC Team in performing in-process inspection using measuring instruments and gauges to maintain quality standards.
5. Will help QC Team to identify defects and take corrective/preventive actions to minimize rework and wastage.
6. Will help QC Team to perform basic preventive maintenance of machines to avoid breakdowns.
7. Will maintain proper reporting of daily production activities and issues.
8. Will support team members during their absence to ensure smooth workflow.
9. Will ensure proper opening and closing of Gala (shop floor) as per schedule.
10. Will assist in stock handling and participate in stock reconciliation activities.
11. Will maintain discipline, good behavior, and workplace hygiene.
12. Will follow all safety guidelines and company policies strictly.

Desired Candidate Profile

Candidate must be:

1. 12th Pass or equivalent qualification
2. Basic knowledge of machine operations and manufacturing processes
3. Familiarity with measuring instruments and gauges is an added advantage
4. Understanding of quality inspection and defect identification is an added advantage
5. Good in basic communication
6. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
7. Ability to work in a team environment
8. Basic knowledge of reporting and documentation
9. Candidates residing in Vasai preferred
10. Candidates who can join immediately or at short notice preferred
