Quality Control Engineer

1. Quality Control – Manufacturing

1. Ensure quality control during manufacturing of GRC, FRP & UHPC components
2. Monitor all stages of production including batching, mixing, casting/spraying, curing, demoulding, finishing, and packing
3. Ensure adherence to approved mix designs, moulds, curing procedures, and finishing standards

2. Raw Material Inspection & Control

1. Inspect incoming raw materials such as cement, sand, fibers, resins, chemicals, additives, pigments, and meshes
2. Verify test certificates and material compliance with approved specifications
3. Maintain raw material inspection and approval records

3. Testing & Inspection

1. Conduct and monitor quality tests including:
2. Compressive strength
3. Flexural strength
4. Density and water absorption
5. Thickness, dimensional tolerance, and surface finish
6. Ensure testing frequency as per approved QA/QC plan and project requirements

4. Drawings & Specification Compliance

1. Ensure products are manufactured strictly as per approved shop drawings, samples, mock-ups, and specifications
2. Coordinate with design and engineering teams for clarifications and revisions
3. Verify dimensions, profiles, textures, and finishes before dispatch

5. Quality Assurance & Compliance

1. Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and checklists
2. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and project-specific quality requirements
3. Conduct internal quality audits and inspections
4. Prepare quality reports for management and clients as required

6. Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions

1. Identify quality deviations, defects, and rejections
2. Raise NCRs and coordinate corrective and preventive actions
3. Work closely with production teams to reduce rework and wastage

7. Dispatch & Site Coordination

1. Conduct final inspection prior to dispatch
2. Ensure proper packing, labeling, and protection of finished products
3. Coordinate with site teams for quality feedback and resolution of issues

8. Documentation & Records Management

1. Maintain QA/QC documentation including:
2. ITPs
3. Checklists
4. Test reports
5. NCRs and CAPA records
6. Ensure proper documentation for audits and client submissions

9. Reporting & MIS

1. Prepare and maintain quality-related MIS reports
2. Track rejections, rework, test results, and corrective actions
3. Submit regular quality performance reports to management

Educational Qualification

1. Diploma / BE / BTech in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering (Required)

Additional Qualifications / certifications

1. Certification in QA/QC or ISO (Preferred)
2. Knowledge of precast, façade, or architectural products

Prior experience

1. 3 to 8 years of experience in QA/QC within GRC / FRP / UHPC / precast manufacturing
2. Experience in façade, architectural, or project-based manufacturing units preferred
3. Other skills (preferred)
4. Strong understanding of quality standards and inspection processes
5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
6. Good documentation and reporting skills
7. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic MIS reporting
8. Strong coordination
