Service Engineer

Maintenance service - Diagnose & resolve mechanical, electrical & electronic issues with EDM machines at customer location. Carry out maintenance work by repairing parts (if applicable) or replacement of spares. 

Installation & calibration - Install/dismantle, calibrate new & old EDM machines for customers

Service work documentation - Record all work done following visit to customers by submitting service reports 

Value added services - Recommend spares & PM/AMC work contracts to customers for their machines

Training - Assisting & training customers on operations & basic maintenance of their machines

Requirement gathering & followup - Visiting customers & prospects on a weekly basis for collecting new requirements of machines, spares or maintenance services. Submitting a weekly visit report for above activity. 

Payment collection & followup - Visit customers on a weekly basis for followup on outstanding payments. 

Skills & qualifications

- Previous experience of working / maintenance of EDM machines (<2 years) 

- Degree in electronics engineering / Knowledge of electronics of EDM machines

- Strong analytical & problem solving skills

- Ability to work independently & in a team (involves correspondence with our foreign principles team members) 

- Physical ability to lift & move equipment 

- Proficient in Marathi, Hindi & English 

- Willingness to travel 20 days in a month

The candidate needs to have his own 2 wheeler for travelling locally in Vasai & Mumbai. Petrol allowance will be given

The above employment will entail signing a bond for a period of 3 years 

Training will be given at our foreign principles factory in Taiwan & China
