Solar Technician

Job Opening: Solar Technician (Site Survey, Installation & Maintenance)

Location: [Vasai]

Experience: 1–3 years (Freshers with basic knowledge can also apply)

Job Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct site surveys for rooftop and ground-mounted solar plants

Take roof measurements, shading analysis, orientation, and basic electrical readings

Perform installation of solar PV systems (residential, commercial, industrial)

Module mounting, inverter installation, DC/AC wiring, earthing & lightning protection

Handle testing & commissioning of solar plants

Carry out operation & maintenance (O&M) activities

Routine inspection, cleaning coordination, fault detection & rectification

Coordinate with EPC team during net metering, inspections, and handover

Ensure work is done as per safety standards and quality guidelines

Required Skills & Qualifications:

ITI / Diploma / Certification in Electrical, Solar, or related field (preferred)

Basic understanding of:

Solar PV systems

Inverters, DC & AC protection devices

Earthing and electrical safety

Ability to read basic drawings/layouts (AutoCAD knowledge is a plus)

Comfortable working on rooftops and at height

Willing to travel to sites

Preferred (Good to Have):

Experience in residential & commercial rooftop solar

Knowledge of net metering process

Two-wheeler with driving license
