Responsibilities of candidates includes: We are seeking a highly motivated Study Abroad Counsellor with Selling Skills to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding students through the process of studying abroad, from selecting a destination and program to preparing for departure. In addition, the successful candidate will have excellent selling skills and be able to promote our study abroad programs and services to potential students and parents. Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one counselling to students regarding study abroad programs and options. Guide students through the application and admission process for study abroad programs. Advise students on study abroad requirements, including visas, travel arrangements, and academic credit transfers. Develop and maintain relationships with partner institutions and study abroad program providers. Develop and implement strategies for promoting our study abroad programs and services to potential students and parents. Attend education fairs, seminars, and other events to promote study abroad opportunities and services. Collaborate with other departments within the company to develop marketing materials and initiatives for study abroad programs. Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the study abroad industry. Maintain accurate records and reports on student applications and enrollments. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., International Relations, Education, Marketing). At least 2 years of experience in study abroad counselling and/or sales. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues. Strong selling skills, with the ability to promote study abroad programs and services effectively. Knowledge of study abroad procedures and requirements. Familiarity with the education system and academic programs in different countries. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate student needs. Fluency in English is required, additional language proficiency is an asset.
