Barista

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Experienced Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of coffee preparation, delivers excellent customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced café environment. You’ll be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and upholding our standards for quality and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and specialty beverages to a high standard

Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment confidently

Provide friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable customer service

Take customer orders accurately and handle cash/POS transactions

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, workstations, and seating areas

Ensure consistent drink quality and presentation

Monitor stock levels and assist with restocking and inventory

Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times

Support and train junior baristas when required

Requirements:

Minimum [1–3+] years of barista experience in a busy café or coffee shop

Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and latte art

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work efficiently under pressure

Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays

A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Formal barista or coffee training/certification

Knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and grinders

Experience with high-volume service environments
