Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and responsible Biomedical Technician to install, maintain, inspect, and repair medical equipment used in home care, hospitals, and clinical environments. The ideal candidate should ensure all biomedical equipment functions safely, accurately, and in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, test, and commission biomedical equipment (e.g., ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, monitors, infusion pumps, oxygen concentrators).
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of medical devices.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and carry out timely repairs.
• Ensure calibration and safety checks as per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain service records, maintenance logs, and equipment documentation.
• Provide technical support and basic training to nurses, caregivers, and clients.
• Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for spare parts and advanced repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and quality standards.
• Attend emergency breakdown calls when required.
• Qualifications & SkillsDiploma / Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in biomedical equipment servicing (home care or hospital preferred).
• Knowledge of ICU and home care medical equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to patient locations and hospitals.
• Preferred AttributesExperience in home care or critical care equipment.
• Basic knowledge of NABH / hospital safety standards.
• Customer-focused and problem-solving attitude.
