Job Description

Role OverviewThe role focuses on generating sales leads and converting qualified prospects into paying customers for products through proactive outreach and effective communication.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation & Research

  • Research and identify potential customers who may be interested in the products.
  • Utilize assigned lead lists and conduct independent research to build and maintain a strong prospect pipeline.

Outbound Calling & Lead Conversion

  • Make outbound calls to prospective customers to introduce products and assess interest.
  • Ask relevant and insightful questions to understand customer needs and determine product fit.
  • Present product features clearly and confidently while addressing customer concerns.
  • Handle objections professionally and guide conversations toward lead qualification or conversion.
  • Schedule appointments for sales representatives or close sales directly over the phone, as per company policy.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions in the CRM system.
  • Update lead statuses regularly and track call activity, follow-ups, and conversion rates.
  • Prepare basic reports on performance metrics when required.

Customer Service

  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to basic inquiries and resolving concerns from potential customers.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience throughout all interactions.
  • Skills & Qualities RequiredStrong communication and interpersonal skills with a confident telephone presence.
  • Excellent active listening skills to understand customer needs and adapt conversations accordingly.
  • Persuasive presentation skills to effectively promote products.
  • Ability to handle objections calmly and professionally.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and experience in lead generation is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and data management practices.
  • Interest in and willingness to learn about the products.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting sales targets and deadlines.
