Job Description

  • Recruitment and Selection: Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and coordinating with hiring managers. Ensuring that the organisation attracts and selects qualified candidates who fit the job requirements and company culture.
  • Employee Onboarding and Off-boarding: Facilitating the onboarding process for new employees, including completing necessary paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and assisting with the integration into the organisation. Managing offboarding processes, including exit interviews and necessary paperwork.
  • Employee Relations: Acting as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters. Addressing employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Tech Savvy: Using technology in improving and automating HR processes and generating reports so that higher management is well informed.
  • Performance Management: Supporting performance management processes, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and feedback sessions. Assisting in the implementation of performance improvement plans and recognizing employee achievements.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Assisting in the administration of compensation and benefits programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, and employee benefits packages. Keeping up to date with industry trends and ensuring the organisation's compensation practices remain competitive.
  • Training and Development: Identifying training needs within the organisation and coordinating or delivering training programs. Developing and implementing employee development initiatives, such as mentoring programs or leadership development workshops.
  • HR Policies and Procedures: Developing, implementing, and communicating HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and alignment with the organisation's values and goals. Updating policies as needed and ensuring employees are aware of any changes.
  • Employee Engagement and Retention: Implementing strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Organising employee engagement activities, conducting employee surveys, and analysing feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • HR Administration: Managing HR documentation and record-keeping, including maintaining employee files, updating HR databases, and preparing HR-related reports. Ensuring compliance with relevant labour laws and regulations.
  • Employee Engagement and Culture: Planning and coordinating employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities, employee recognition programs, and wellness programs. Promoting a positive company culture and values. Conducting employee surveys and utilising feedback to improve employee satisfaction and engagement.
  • HR Analytics and Metrics: Utilising HR metrics and analytics to assess HR programs' effectiveness, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement. Monitoring key HR metrics, such as turnover rates, retention, and employee satisfaction, to measure HR department performance.
  • Legal Compliance: Staying updated on employment laws and regulations to ensure HR practices align with legal requirements. Providing guidance and support to managers and employees regarding legal compliance issues, such as equal employment opportunity, anti-discrimination, and workplace safety.
