Job Description
ICICI Lombard insurance agents primarily focus on selling and servicing insurance products, including motor, health, and other policies. Their responsibilities include acquiring new customers, building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, and providing support throughout the policy lifecycle. Agents also play a key role in identifying and capitalizing on cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
Acquiring new customers through various channels, including leads provided by the company, personal contacts, and market research.
Selling insurance products, such as motor, health, and other policies, tailored to the customer's needs.
Meeting sales targets and contributing to the overall business growth of the agency or branch.
Identifying and capitalizing on cross-selling and upselling opportunities to existing customers.
Customer Relationship Management:
Providing excellent customer service and support throughout the policy lifecycle.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Addressing customer queries, concerns, and claims effectively and efficiently.
Policy Management and Administration:
Assisting customers with policy issuance, renewals, and endorsements.
Ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping related to sales and customer information.
Adhering to company policies and procedures in all sales and service activities.
Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:
Adhering to all regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements set by IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India).
Ensuring all sales and service activities are conducted ethically and responsibly.
Training and Development:
Participating in training programs to enhance product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service capabilities.
Staying updated on industry trends, new products, and changes in regulations.
