Position Title: Principal/Centre Manager

Location: Kanuru, Vijayawada

Reports To: Management / Director – Kidzee Kanuru



Position Overview

The Preschool Principal is responsible for the overall leadership, administration, and operational excellence of the preschool. This role entails end-to-end ownership of admissions, academic oversight, centre management, staff leadership, parent engagement, and compliance. The principal ensures a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment while driving enrolment growth and operational efficiency.



Key Responsibilities

1. Admissions & Enrolment Management

  • Lead the end-to-end admissions process, including inquiries, counselling, school tours, follow-ups, and closures.
  • Achieve monthly and annual enrolment targets through effective conversion strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective parents.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to admission policies.

2. Centre & Operations Management

  • Oversee daily centre operations to ensure smooth functioning of academic and non-academic activities.
  • Manage infrastructure, facilities, hygiene, safety, and security standards.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for centre needs.

3. Academic Leadership & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure effective implementation of the preschool curriculum and academic calendar.
  • Monitor classroom delivery, lesson planning, and child development outcomes.
  • Support teachers with training, mentoring, and performance feedback.
  • Maintain high standards of teaching quality and learning outcomes.

 

 

 

 

 

4. Team Leadership & People Management

  • Recruit, onboard, train, and manage teaching and non-teaching staff.
  • Set clear performance goals and conduct regular reviews.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven work culture.
  • Manage staff rosters, attendance, and productivity.

5. Parent Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for parents and address concerns proactively.
  • Conduct parent meetings, orientations, and feedback sessions.
  • Ensure high levels of parent satisfaction and retention.

6. Financial & Administrative Oversight

  • Monitor centre budgets, expenses, and revenue performance.
  • Ensure timely fee collections and accurate MIS reporting.
  • Maintain student, staff, and operational records.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in preschool/school administration, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience in admissions handling and centre operations
