Identifying data quality issues: The Data Quality Analyst is responsible for identifying data quality issues, such as incomplete or inaccurate data, and for resolving those issues. Providing data quality training: The Data Quality Analyst may be responsible for providing data quality training to employees and stakeholders to ensure that they understand the importance of data quality and their role in maintaining it. Analyzing data quality metrics: The Data Quality Analyst analyzes data quality metrics to identify trends and patterns in data quality issues and to make recommendations for improvements. Collaborating with stakeholders: The Data Quality Analyst collaborates with stakeholders, such as business analysts, data scientists, and IT teams, to identify and resolve data quality issues. Maintaining data dictionaries: The Data Quality Analyst is responsible for maintaining data dictionaries that define the data elements used by the organization and for ensuring that they are accurate and up-to-date. Documenting data quality issues: The Data Quality Analyst documents data quality issues and their resolution to ensure that data quality is tracked and monitored over time. Desired Candidate Profile Education: A Bachelor's degree is a desired. Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential to this role. The analyst must be able to identify data quality issues, analyze the root cause, and recommend solutions. Attention to detail: Data quality analysts must be meticulous in their work and pay close attention to detail to ensure data accuracy. Communication skills: Excellent communication skills are necessary to work with stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs, explain data quality issues, and recommend solutions. Experience: Previous experience in a data quality or data analysis role is preferred, especially in a BPO or similar environment. Ability to work under pressure: The ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks is crucial in a BPO center where data quality issues need to be resolved quickly.
