🌟 We’re Hiring: Restaurant Operations ManagerBesta – The Indian Kitchen | VijayawadaBesta – The Indian Kitchen is a premium multi-cuisine restaurant known for refined flavors, warm hospitality, and curated dining experiences. We are looking for a hands-on Restaurant Operations Manager who can lead service excellence, coordinate seamlessly with the kitchen, and uphold our brand standards every single day.

  • Key Responsibilities1. Service & Kitchen CoordinationEnsure smooth coordination between service and kitchen teams.
  • Push daily special items and ensure proper communication to service staff.
  • Oversee KOT reception and execution for timely order flow.
  • Supervise preparation of complementary drinks.
  • Monitor plating standards and portion sizes before service.
  • 2. Customer Experience & Feedback HandlingPersonally attend to unhappy customers and resolve concerns professionally.
  • Follow the HEARD model:

  • Prepare a daily end-of-day feedback summary (positive & negative highlights).
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement service or operational improvements.
  • 3. Service ExcellenceEnsure all guests are greeted with:
  • “Hello Sir/Madam, welcome to BESTA.”
  • Enforce the standard service sequence:
  • Welcome → Water → Order → Welcome drink/snack → Order service → Feedback → Follow-up order → Service → Thank guest → Bill & rating request
  • Ensure service areas are clean, organized, and free of leftovers after service hours.
  • Prepare staff schedules, manage weekly offs and leave planning.
  • 4. Kitchen OversightWork closely with chefs to refine or modify recipes when required.
  • Ensure proper labeling of all items in freezers and chillers.
  • Maintain strict cleanliness—no used utensils left unattended.
  • Coordinate with the store in-charge for uninterrupted ingredient supply.
  • 5. Staff Recruitment & LeadershipConduct initial screening interviews for service and kitchen staff.
  • Recommend suitable candidates to ownership.
  • Lead daily teams with discipline, motivation, and accountability.
  • 6. Daily Briefings & Check-InsConduct pre-shift service briefings to recap feedback and reinforce protocols.
  • Conduct kitchen briefings to pass on customer feedback related to food and presentation.
  • Ensure every shift starts with clarity and alignment.
  • Who We’re Looking ForMinimum 3–5 years of experience in restaurant operations or hospitality management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle guests calmly and professionally.
  • Hands-on mindset with attention to detail.
  • Experience in premium or high-volume restaurants is preferred.
