Sales Head – Renewable Solar Energy


Location: Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh

Industry: Renewable Energy -Solar Power/ Lifts/ Interiors/ Property/ All other Divisions in Company

Reporting To: Director

Experience Required: 8–15 Years (Preferably in Solar/Renewables, Retail, Banking)


Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Sales Head to lead our solar energy sales division in Vijayawada. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the renewable energy sector or any relevant Experience, proven leadership abilities, and a passion for driving clean energy adoption. The role requires building strong channel networks, managing large B2B/B2C sales pipelines, and leading a high-performing sales team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business goals in the solar energy domain.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both residential, commercial, and industrial solar segments.
  • Establish and manage channel partners, dealer networks, and EPC alliances.
  • Build and manage a strong sales team; set targets and monitor performance.
  • Engage with government departments, corporates, and key stakeholders for large-scale solar projects.
  • Track and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.
  • Coordinate with engineering, installation, and service teams to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Prepare periodic sales forecasts, revenue targets, and MIS reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry standards.


Preferred Candidates:

  • Candidates with regional language proficiency (Telugu).
  • Prior experience handling MNRE, DISCOM, or state solar programs.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Vijayawada.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy, or Business; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in solar energy sales, preferably in leadership roles.
  • Strong network in the renewable energy sector, especially in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in CRM tools, MS Office, and project management platforms.
