Job Description

Job Title: Solar Sales Executive

Location: All over Vijayawada

Department: Sales & Marketing

Reports To: Sales Manager / Branch Head



Job Summary:

The Solar Sales Executive is responsible for generating leads, meeting potential clients, and closing sales for solar energy solutions. This role focuses on promoting residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects while ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving monthly sales targets.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for solar products and services.
  • Conduct site visits, feasibility studies, and initial customer consultations.
  • Explain solar system benefits, technical details, pricing, and financing options to customers.
  • Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and contracts.
  • Follow up on leads and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with the design and installation teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Maintain sales records, reports, and performance tracking using CRM tools.
  • Participate in marketing campaigns, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
  • Stay updated on solar technology trends, government policies, and subsidy schemes.



Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in solar or renewable energy sales (freshers with strong communication skills may apply).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong customer focus and ability to meet targets.
  • Basic knowledge of solar PV systems and energy products.
  • Two-wheeler and valid driving license (preferred).



Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Monthly and quarterly sales targets achieved.
  • Lead conversion rate.
  • Customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Timely submission of reports and documentation.



Compensation:

  • Fixed salary + Attractive incentives based on performance.
