Job Description: Store Captain / Floor Manager – Boyapati Foods

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Store Captain / Floor Manager to be the face of Boyapati Dairy & Foods, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, guided, and delighted. This role combines hospitality, salesmanship, and operations management — engaging customers with our brand story and specialties while also overseeing staff, inventory, and store efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Hospitality

• Greet every customer warmly with a smile and a welcome (e.g., “Welcome to Boyapati Dairy & Foods!”).
• Guide customers to the right counters (sweets, bakery, dairy, gelato) or available seating if dine-in is offered.
• Explain signature items, live-prepared sweets (like jalebi), specials, and seasonal offerings.
• Offer samples of new sweets and encourage customers to try trending items.
• Suggest popular combos, festive hampers, and premium products like ghee sweets.
• Assist customers with festive gift inquiries, packaging options, and custom orders.
• Maintain polite, professional, and attentive communication at all times.
• During rush hours, politely manage waiting customers and ensure no guest feels unattended.
• Support counters when required (packing sweets, billing support).

Sales & Brand Storytelling

• Share the Boyapati Foods brand legacy (purity, unadulterated dairy, and heritage sweets).
• Proactively upsell premium products, gift boxes, and seasonal specials.
• Promote new product launches and educate customers about differentiators.

Store Organization & Presentation

• Keep store clean, well-organized, and visually appealing at all times.
• Oversee product display and ensure freshness and quality are showcased.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth customer flow and efficient service.

Staff Leadership & Training

• Train and guide staff on customer service, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
• Manage staff schedules, attendance, and grooming standards.
• Motivate team to deliver consistent hospitality and high service quality.

Inventory & Coordination

• Monitor daily stock levels, ensuring adequate availability of fast-moving items.
• Coordinate with warehouse and kitchen for timely replenishment.
• Track wastage, customer feedback, and suggest improvements to management.

Administration & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with hygiene and FSSAI standards.
• Support management with sales reports, festive planning, and operational updates.

• Strong communication skills in Telugu, English, and Hindi.

• Leadership ability to train, guide, and motivate staff.

• Prior experience in F&B retail, hospitality, or store management preferred.

QualificationsMinimum:

• Graduate or Diploma in Hospitality/Business Management.
• 3 years of minimum experience in F&B or retail operations with supervisory responsibility.
