Jass Metalkraft LLP is a family-run business with over 50 years of experience in manufacturing stainless steel utensils. The company exports to the Middle East and Africa and has recently launched the Chefkraft brand to serve the growing Indian cookware and storageware market.

With a growing distribution network across India and strong OEM partnerships with established household brands, the company continues to expand its operations. The business is now being led by the third generation under the leadership of Mr. Amar Shah, focusing on modernizing factory processes and scaling the Chefkraft brand.

Position Overview

The Assistant Factory Manager will support the management team in overseeing daily factory operations. This role is responsible for coordinating production activities, maintaining operational records, supervising dispatch operations, and acting as a communication bridge between management and factory floor workers.

The role requires a hands-on individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple operational tasks simultaneously. Over time, the candidate will be trained to take on broader factory management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Production Monitoring

- Assist in tracking daily production across different departments.

- Prepare and maintain daily operational reports including Production Reports, Polish Reports, and Stock Movement Reports.

- Ensure smooth flow of materials between departments.

Dispatch & Order Fulfillment

- Coordinate with the packing department to ensure timely dispatch of orders (online and offline).

- Prepare dispatch documentation including Invoices, Delivery Challans, and Packing Lists.

- Liaise with logistics partners and transport vendors for dispatch planning.

Inventory Coordination

- Maintain visibility on stock levels of finished goods and accessories.

- Coordinate with the purchase team regarding potential stock shortages or reorder requirements.

Factory Administration

- Maintain factory attendance registers and payroll-related records.

- Manage petty cash for factory-related expenses.

- Ensure proper documentation of inward and outward material movement.

Workforce Supervision

- Coordinate daily activities of factory floor workers.

- Ensure staff are assigned tasks and remain productively engaged.

- Assist management in deciding overtime requirements when workloads increase.

Communication & Escalation

- Act as the point of communication between management and factory staff.

- Escalate operational issues, production delays, or labour concerns promptly.

Required Experience

- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or factory environment.

- Experience working with labour staff and production teams preferred.

- Exposure to stainless steel utensils or metal manufacturing will be an advantage.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Education: Any graduate / diploma preferred

- Male candidate preferred due to factory-floor involvement

- Preferably residing in Vasai / Virar region

- Ability to read and write in English

- Comfortable working closely with labour and operational teams

Working Hours

8:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Weekly off: Sunday
