Production Operator - Derivatives

Criteria (Qualifications & Experience)

• Education: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, Instrumentation, Electrical, or B.Sc. Chemistry.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years for Diploma/B.Sc. Chemistry, or 5 to 7 years for ITI candidates.
• Industry Background: Hands-on experience in a manufacturing or processing environment with familiarity with Derivative process operations.
• Skills: Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting equipment.

Job Description (Key Responsibilities)

• Apply handling knowledge of chemicals, specifically caustic and acid, and operate pumps and conveying systems.
• Support manufacturing operations by maintaining process parameters and achieving production targets.
• Understand and interpret Quality Control (QC) results and take appropriate action when required.
• Perform manual tasks and oversee automated operations associated with safe, reliable, and high-throughput production.
• Assess hazards associated with jobs and ensure safety compliance on the shop floor.
• Gain technical knowledge of the formulation process, including how operations influence quality and stock control.
