Production Operator - Starch

Criteria (Qualifications & Experience)

• Education: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Fitter, Instrumentation, Electrical, or B.Sc. Chemistry.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years for Diploma/B.Sc. Chemistry, or 5 to 7 years for ITI candidates.
• Industry Background: Experience in Starch/Derivative food or FMCG manufacturing.
• Skills: Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and plant safety standards.

Job Description (Key Responsibilities)

• Operate specific starch processing equipment, including soaking tanks, pin mills (impact mills), separators, decanters, and flash dryers.
• Implement process improvements and troubleshoot production issues to optimize efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Inspect output for quality, consistency, and compliance with standards, identifying and reporting any deviations.
• Conduct regular inspection and preventive maintenance of equipment to ensure full performance.
• Assist the engineering department in performing maintenance, repairs, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Ensure the workplace is kept clean and tidy while strictly following safety instructions.
