Accountant/ Accounts Executive

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Assistant to handle day-to-day accounting entries, billing, and GST-related tasks. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with data entry, invoicing, and maintaining records accurately using spreadsheets.

1. Key Responsibilities:Prepare and manage sales invoices/billing with accurate details.
2. Handle purchases entry and maintain purchase registers.
3. Record daily expenses and categorize them properly.
4. Apply correct HSN codes and GST tax rates (IGST/CGST/SGST) on all invoices and entries.
5. Ensure GST compliance in all billing and purchase transactions.
6. Maintain all accounting data in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (create reports, trackers, and summaries).
7. Reconcile bank statements and petty cash entries.
8. Generate monthly/weekly reports on sales, purchases, and expenses.
9. Assist in filing GST returns and coordinating with the accountant/CA when required.

• Required Skills & Qualifications:Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
• Strong understanding of HSN codes and current GST tax rates.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, data validation essential).
• Good typing speed and attention to detail for accurate data entry.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Basic communication skills in English and local language.

Freshers with relevant knowledge/certification in GST or Tally/Excel are encouraged to apply. Training will be provided for company-specific processes.
