Job Description

Role Summary

A Sales Executive at Cell Point India Ltd is responsible for driving in-store sales of mobile phones, accessories, and consumer mobile products, offering excellent customer service, achieving sales targets, and maintaining positive customer relationships.


Retail Sales

  • Greet customers, understand their needs, and present suitable products (smartphones, accessories, etc.).
  • Explain product features, technical details, pricing, and promotions in a clear and persuasive way.
  • Promote offers and upsell additional accessories or services where appropriate.

Targets & Performance

  • Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets set by the store or management.
  • Contribute to overall store performance and revenue growth.

Customer Service & After-Sales

  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the buying process.
  • Handle customer queries, concerns, and after-sales support professionally.

Store & Inventory Tasks

  • Assist in stock management, display setup, and ensuring products are well presented on the sales floor.
  • Help track inventory levels and inform management when stock needs replenishment.

Transactions & Record Keeping

  • Process sales transactions, issue bills, and handle payments accurately.
  • Maintain sales records and contribute feedback on customer trends and preferences.


Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 10th pass (higher secondary or equivalent preferred, depending on store requirements).
  • Previous retail or sales experience is a plus (often 0–1 year preferred).


Skills & Attributes

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (ability to interact confidently with customers).
  • Customer-focused mindset and ability to manage service issues courteously.
  • Goal-oriented with a drive to meet targets.
  • Basic knowledge of mobile technology and accessories is helpful.


Work Environment

  • Typically in-store retail setting with a day shift schedule.
  • Often includes weekend or peak hours during new product launches and promotions.


Compensation

  • Fixed salary (varies by location and experience). Typical examples range around ₹12,000–₹15,000/month with commission in some listings.
