Sign Language Interpreter Cum Trainer

> RESPONSIBILITIES:

Training:

1. Following the predefined session plan while delivering training to the identified youth

2. Train students on the core employability skills and identified other subjects based on the curriculum that is designed by DRF.

3. Prepare learners to face interviews confidently

4. Conduct assessments as per the plan to continue to measure the progress of the students

5. Maintain data with respect to training and related activities.

6. Participate in center activities (such as organizing Parents meet, doing retention follow up, collecting training feedback etc.) along with the other staff members to make the center successful.

Counselling:

7. Extend support to Area Head or counsellor in counselling aspirants during admission process by acting as a interpreter.

Collaborating with the Employers:

8. Support Employers during the interviews aspirant interviews by being an interpreter between students and employers

9. Extend support to employer in inducting selected students into their organization, only if respective organizations does not have dedicated SLIs.

1. Participation in seminars to mobilize youth

2. Centre level reports

3. Employer connect for placement of youth

> REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Proficient in Indian Sign Language

2. Basic English Language Proficiency [Basic]

3. Knowledge of basic computers – Exposure of working with computers

4. Ability to train adults who are hearing impaired
