Barista

We are seeking an enthusiastic, customer-focused Barista to join our coffee shop team. The ideal candidate has a passion for coffee, exceptional communication skills, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in creating a positive and memorable experience for every customer. 

Responsibilities

• Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty drinks, following company recipes and quality standards.
• Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide menu recommendations and education on various coffee blends and brewing methods.
• POS and Cash Handling: Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area, including countertops, machines, and seating areas. Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies, restocking as needed and communicating low stock to management.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate and clean brewing equipment, espresso machines, and grinders properly, reporting any maintenance needs promptly.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team, assisting with opening and closing duties and ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
