Job Title: Commi Chef

Department: Kitchen Operations

Reports To: Sous Chef / Kitchen Incharge / Restaurant Manager

Location: Store Level

Job Summary:

The Commi Chef is responsible for assisting in food preparation, maintaining kitchen hygiene standards, and ensuring timely service as per company SOPs. The role supports smooth kitchen operations while maintaining food quality and safety standards.

• Key Responsibilities: Assist in preparation and cooking of menu items as per standard recipes.
• Ensure proper portion control and presentation standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen equipment and work area.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines (FSSAI standards).
• Support stock receiving, storage, and FIFO practices.
• Ensure minimum food wastage and proper inventory handling.
• Coordinate with service team for smooth order execution.
• Assist senior chefs during peak hours and rush periods.
• Maintain discipline and teamwork within the kitchen.

• Skills & Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Understanding of hygiene and food safety standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long hours.
• Freshers with passion for cooking can also apply.
• Experience:0–2 years of kitchen experience (QSR / Restaurant preferred)
