📌 Position Overview

We are seeking a Shop Manager to oversee operations in our sewing machine retail and service outlet. The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge of sewing machines with strong leadership and customer service skills, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning, efficient sales, and high-quality service delivery.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Operations Management
• Supervise daily shop activities, including sales, repairs, and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and professional presentation of the shop.
• Sales & Customer Service
• Assist customers in selecting sewing machines, accessories, and r  elated products.
• Provide demonstrations and technical guidance on machine usage.
• Handle escalations and resolve customer concerns diplomatically.
• Team Leadership
• Train, mentor, and supervise shop staff and technicians.
• Schedule shifts and allocate tasks to maximize efficiency.
• Foster a collaborative and customer-focused work environment.
• Inventory & Vendor Coordination
• Monitor stock levels and manage procurement of machines, spare parts, and supplies.
• Liaise with suppliers and vendors for timely deliveries and service agreements.
• Track sales and prepare periodic reports for management.
• Financial & Administrative Duties

o  Manage billing, invoicing, and cash handling.

o  Support promotional campaigns and shop marketing initiatives.

o  Prepare performance reports and suggest process improvements.

🛠️ Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail or workshop management (preferably sewing machines or related equipment).
• Strong technical understanding of sewing machines—repairs, maintenance, and usage.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Leadership ability with experience in team supervision.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office or POS systems is an advantage.
