Site Civil Engineer

Preferred Skills :

• Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Experience in infrastructure, commercial, or residential projects.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

Required Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
2. 3–7 years of experience in construction/site supervision.
3. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality control.
4. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, and MS Office.
5. Strong leadership and communication skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Site Engineering Duties:

1. Supervise civil construction works such as excavation, foundations, concrete works, structural works, roads, drainage, and utilities.
2. Review and interpret engineering drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
3. Ensure work execution complies with approved plans, quality standards, and safety regulations.
4. Conduct site inspections and quality checks.
5. Coordinate with subcontractors and site workers.
6. Resolve technical issues arising at the construction site.

2. Project Coordination

1. Coordinate between clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
2. Monitor project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved.
3. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
4. Track material deliveries and ensure timely procurement.
5. Assist in budget monitoring and cost control.
6. Attend site meetings and prepare meeting minutes.

3. Documentation & Reporting:

1. Maintain site records, work logs, and inspection reports.
2. Prepare and verify quantity take-offs and work measurements.
3. Ensure proper documentation for billing and project close-out.
4. Support preparation of variation orders and claims.
