🎯 Telecaller – Roles & Responsibilities (EdTech)

📞 1. Lead Handling & Calling

Call prospective students/parents from provided database (leads)

Explain courses (IIT-JEE, NEET, Foundation, etc.) clearly

Follow up on enquiries (website, walk-ins, campaigns, referrals)

🧠 2. Counselling & Conversion

Understand student needs (class, goals, budget)

Suggest suitable programs/courses

Convince and convert leads into admissions

Build trust with parents and students

📊 3. Lead Management & Tracking

Maintain daily call records (CRM / Excel)

Update lead status (Interested / Not Interested / Follow-up)

Ensure proper follow-up cycles

📢 4. Promotion & Campaign Support

Inform leads about:

Demo classes

Scholarship tests

Admission offers

Support marketing campaigns (WhatsApp, SMS, events)

🤝 5. Relationship Building

Maintain long-term communication with parents/students

Handle queries politely and professionally

Ensure positive brand image of institute

🎯 6. Target Achievement

Meet daily/weekly/monthly call & admission targets

Work closely with admission counsellors & academic team

🛠️ 7. Coordination & Reporting

Coordinate with:

Front office team

Academic coordinators

Share daily reports with management

✅ Required Skills

Good communication (English + Telugu/Hindi preferred)

Convincing & negotiation skills

Basic computer knowledge (Excel, CRM)

Patience & positive attitude

Sales mindset with student-first approach

💼 Optional Add-ons (for strong JD)

Experience in EdTech / Coaching institutes preferred

Ability to handle high call volumes

Knowledge of IIT-JEE / NEET structure is a plus
