Senior Software Engineering Consultant / Team Lead

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineering Consultant to lead a team of consultants and manage the overall success of candidate training and job placement efforts. This individual will be responsible for designing learning frameworks, supervising consultants, and ensuring candidates achieve job-readiness goals.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the Data Engineering training team.

* Design and maintain structured learning paths aligned with market trends.

* Monitor consultant performance and provide training/support as needed.

* Conduct escalation mock interviews and review candidate readiness before external interviews.

* Liaise with internal leadership on candidate performance reports and placement status.

* Own candidate progress tracking systems and ensure regular updates are maintained.

* Introduce advanced tools and methodologies to improve candidate outcomes.

* Act as final quality checkpoint for resumes, GitHub projects, and interview prep.

Required Skills:

* 2 to 4 years of experience in data engineering, with team leadership exposure.

* Strong technical background (SQL, Python, Spark, cloud platforms).

* Experience managing technical teams or training cohorts.

* Ability to balance technical mentoring with people and process management.

* Strong organizational, communication, and strategic thinking abilities.
