Mechanical Design Engineer

Objectives of this role

• Understanding of equipment application, documentation , validation process, and calibration process
• Drawing Documentation as per ISO format
• Adhere to national and local compliance regulations and standards, along with keeping in mind the ethos of the company

Responsibilities

• Prepare Part drawings, assembly drawings and bill of materials from 3D cad model in SolidWorks.
• Prepare nesting sheet of raw material for laser cutting in AutoCAD
• Guide to bending operator for bending part as per drawing instructions
• Guide to workers for assembly and fabrication works as per drawing dimension
• Report to the senior mechanical design engineers and report to the company regarding the status of each project
• Store all drawings file & BOM in hard copy and soft copy as per ISO format
• Perform regular tests and experiments to determine how to better improve a component
• Use CAD and 3D CAD programs to plan the mechanical design projects
• Troubleshoot problems and devise solutions to resolve them
• Research and keep up with the dynamic technology and trends in the mechanical design spectrum

Required skills and qualifications

• Diploma in mechanical engineering
• Fresher or experience in sheet metal work , as well as fabrication work designing
• Knowledge in dealing with engineering drawings and 3D modelling
• Sound knowledge of GD&T
• Strong verbal, written and communications skills
