Sales Officer

Responsibilities

• Customer acquisition: Source new customers for CASA, Demat, and credit cards through various channels in the assigned geography.
• Sales and cross-selling: Sell and cross-sell banking products and third-party financial products like life insurance and fixed deposits to new and existing customers.
• Sales targets: Achieve monthly quantitative and qualitative sales targets as defined by the bank.
• Customer relationship management: Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers, resolve queries, and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Lead generation: Generate leads through cold calls, e-mailing, direct mailing, branch walk-ins, and corporate visits.
• Documentation: Ensure complete and accurate submission of all required documentation and information for new account openings.
• Compliance: Adhere strictly to all banking norms, regulations, and KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures.
• Reporting: Maintain reports on sales activities and customer interactions.
• Market feedback: Provide market feedback and trends to the supervisor. 

Key skills and qualifications

• Education: Any graduate degree is typically required.
• Experience: Both freshers and experienced candidates are considered.
• Communication: Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with customers and explaining products.
• Attitude: A hard-working, smart-working, and customer-focused attitude.
• Other: A two-wheeler with a valid driving license and local residency are often preferred.
