Position Title: Residential Teacher -Subject-specific: Physics, English, Mathematics, Economics

Location: Amabla / Yamuna Nagar / Patiala

Job Type: Full-time, Residential

Salary: 25k -50k

Accommodation & Meals: Provided by the school

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the school's curriculum and academic calendar.
• Design and evaluate tests, assignments, and projects to assess student learning.
• Provide academic support and mentorship to students, including remedial teaching when needed.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and performance.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance classroom learning.

Residential Responsibilities:

• Supervise students in the hostel and maintain discipline and decorum.
• Be available for academic or personal mentoring beyond school hours.
• Support student activities like prep sessions, co-curricular and weekend activities.
• Collaborate with the residential warden and other staff to ensure student well-being and safety.

General Responsibilities:

• Participate actively in staff meetings, workshops, and professional development programs.
• Organize and participate in school functions, events, and parent-teacher meetings.
• Uphold the school’s values, code of conduct, and discipline policies.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful school environment.

Subject-Specific Requirements:

We are looking for qualified and experienced candidates for the following positions:

1.PGT Physics (for NDA program) ( YAMUNANAGAR)

• Master’s degree in Physics
• Teaching experience in competitive exams preparation is preferred
• Strong conceptual clarity and problem-solving skills

2. PGT Economics Master’s degree in Economics

• Strong ability to explain core economic concepts such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, and Indian economy in-depth
• Should be able to relate topics with current affairs and competitive exam patterns
• Prior experience in defense exam preparation or academic teaching will be an added advantage

3.PGT & TGT English

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in English
• Good communication and writing skills
• Experience in teaching grammar, comprehension, and literature

4.PGT Mathematics (for NDA competition)

• Master’s degree in Mathematics
• Expertise in advanced mathematical problems and exam patterns
• Analytical thinking and practice-based teaching approach

Qualification :

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in the relevant subject.
• B.Ed or equivalent teaching certification ( preferred)
• Minimum 3–6 years of teaching experience in a school environment (residential experience preferred).
• Fluent in English and proficient in written and spoken communication.
• Basic computer skills (mandatory for all subjects).
