About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packing Machine Operator to join our production team. The role involves operating, monitoring, and maintaining packing machines to ensure efficient and accurate packaging of products while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packing machines to ensure smooth production flow
• Set up machines before production runs and adjust settings as needed
• Inspect packaged products for quality, accuracy, and compliance with standards
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to minimise downtime
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate major problems to supervisors
• Maintain records of production output, machine performance, and downtime
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organised work environment
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
• Prior experience as a machine operator in packaging or manufacturing is an advantage
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to handle tools/equipment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends or holidays if required
