Supervisor/Incharge

One supervisor with minimum Diploma in Electrical or Electronics engineering qualification and minimum 3 (Three) years’ experience in auxiliary

equipment maintenance and equipped with laptop & wireless internet connectivity and a minimum two wheeler shall be deployed with mobile phone having internet (smartphone with mail configuration app) for ensuring technical support to various repeaters. The supervisor shall supervise all operators/ PoP technician and routinely check their attendance from centrally identified locations. In case the Operator/ PoP Technician or Supervisor himself is

on leave or not available then the leave-reserve shall be ensured. The normal station of each supervisor will be such that he is able to easily move for technical support at any of the repeater station under the package in his supervision in emergency or for routine visit. The supervisor shall report to POWERTEL (RTCC) on daily basis and submit daily reports obtained from all Repeaters & PoPs as per enclosed formats, even if the Supervisor is out of

station.

Supervisor shall be solely responsible for the ‘Safety & Security’ of the deployed manpower across the whole region while execution of works defined under TS.

He shall ensure compliance of all necessary processes/ procedures for their safety & security and ensure availability of necessary protection gears (i.e.

Electrical insulation gloves, safety helmet, safety harness, safety shoes etc.) for support personnel. All personnel must be given time to time training on

workplace safety processes and use of protection gears. All the work must be executed under his guidance and co-ordination.
