Job Description:


We are hiring an experienced Senior Packaging Designer / DTP Operator having in-depth knowledge of CorelDRAW and offset printing artwork. The candidate must be able to independently handle carton and box design for FMCG, dairy, and food packaging clients, ensuring complete print-ready accuracy.




Key Responsibilities:


Design and prepare artwork layouts for mono cartons, duplex boxes, labels, and sleeves in CorelDRAW.
Create and modify die layouts, manage bleeds, trapping, colour separations (CMYK), and ensure print accuracy.
Coordinate with CTP / pre-press and production teams for proof checking and approval.
Maintain colour consistency and brand standards across all packaging lines.
Develop new designs as per client specifications (Verka, Vita, Milma, etc.).
Supervise junior designers and maintain artwork archives systematically.






Requirements:


Minimum 5 years’ experience in a packaging or printing press environment.
Strong working knowledge of CorelDRAW (mandatory); Photoshop or Illustrator is an advantage.
Understanding of offset printing process, lamination, varnish, die-cutting, and embossing.
Ability to read and work on die-lines and structural packaging formats.
High attention to detail and ability to meet production deadlines.






Education:


Diploma / Degree in Printing Technology / Graphic Design / Packaging Design or equivalent practical experience.
