Job Summary:

We are a leading distributor of industrial valves in Chennai and are seeking enthusiastic and results-oriented Marketing Agents to expand our market reach. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential clients in various industries, promoting our range of high-quality industrial valves, and building strong, lasting relationships. This role requires individuals with excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and a strong understanding of industrial processes.

Responsibilities:

-Identify and target potential customers within relevant industries (e.g., oil & gas, chemical processing, power generation, water treatment, etc.).
-Conduct market research to understand customer needs and identify new business opportunities.
-Present and promote our range of industrial valves to prospective clients through in-person meetings, presentations, and follow-ups.
-Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
-Provide technical information and support to clients regarding valve specifications and applications.
-Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
-Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.  
-Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.

Requirements:

-Proven experience in marketing or sales, preferably within the industrial valve or related sectors.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
-Fluency in Tamil is an advantage.
-Must possess a valid two-wheeler driving license and own a well-maintained two-wheeler for daily travel.
-Strong negotiation and closing skills.
-Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
-Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineering.
-Existing network of contacts within relevant industries in Chennai and surrounding areas.
-Familiarity with different types of industrial valves (e.g., ball valves, gate valves, globe valves, butterfly valves, control valves) and their applications.
