We are looking for a skilled welder to join our manufacturing unit specialising in SPM machines.
   THE ROLE INVOLVES: 
 Welding, fabrication, and assembly of machine structures and components as per engineering drawings. With a strong focus on quality, accuracy and safety.
 Fabricate machines frames, structures, brackets. 
Read and understand engineering drawings and welding symbols. 
Carry out grinding, cutting, and basic fabrication work when required. 
Follow safety standards and maintain a clean work area.

Responsibility includes handling equipment (welding or otherwise), cutting, welding and fabricating pipeline systems, doing maintenance service, repairs etc. as per procedure to avoid unnecessary breakdown. 
Sets up parts for welding; uses hand tools, clamps, jigs and fixtures. Works from specifications, drawings and weld symbols. Prepares and completes work on materials by welding, cutting, grinding and cleaning metal.

Welding & Fabrication: Operate MIG welding equipment to fuse steel, aluminum, or other metal components based on specifications.
Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints,, engineering drawings, and work orders to plan layouts.
Machine Setup: Select proper wire, adjust gas shielding (Argon/CO2), and set amperage/voltage for optimal welding.
Quality Inspection: Inspect completed joints for defects like porosity or cracking, grinding or repairing as necessary.
Safety & Maintenance: Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards, including PPE usage. Perform preventive maintenance on torches, wire feeders, and tools.
Fabrication Tasks: Tack welding, cutting, grinding, and assembling metal parts.
