Digital Marketing Intern


Job Description:


We are seeking a motivated and creative Digital Marketing Intern to join our team at Kings Equestrian. The intern will assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our horse riding programs and events. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing within the equestrian industry.




### Key Responsibilities:


1. **Content Creation:**


- Develop engaging content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.


- Write blog posts, newsletters, and other promotional materials to highlight the school's programs, events, and success stories.




2. **Social Media Management:**


- Manage and update social media profiles regularly.


- Create and schedule posts, monitor engagement, and respond to comments and messages.


- Analyze social media performance and provide insights for improvement.




3. **SEO and Website Management:**


- Assist in optimizing the website for search engines (SEO).


- Update website content to ensure it is current and engaging.


- Monitor website analytics and suggest enhancements.




4. **Email Marketing:**


- Design and execute email marketing campaigns to promote events, special offers, and newsletters.


- Manage email lists and segment audiences for targeted campaigns.




5. **Advertising:**


- Assist in planning and executing paid advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and social media.


- Monitor ad performance and adjust strategies as needed.




6. **Event Promotion:**


- Help in promoting events and special programs through various digital channels.


- Create promotional materials such as flyers and banners for digital distribution.




7. **Market Research:**


- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audience to inform marketing strategies.


- Provide regular reports on market insights and campaign performance.




### Qualifications:


- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.


- Strong written and verbal communication skills.


- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.


- Basic understanding of SEO principles and web analytics.


- Creative mindset with attention to detail.


- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


- Passion for horses and the equestrian industry is a plus.
