Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to oversee commercial and residential interior design projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering high-end design projects within scope, on time, and within budget. The Project Manager will collaborate with design teams, contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines. Ensure resource allocation and manage project scope from conception to completion.
• Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams including designers, architects, contractors, and suppliers to achieve project objectives.
• Client Communication: Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring all costs are tracked and the project stays within financial limits.
• Quality Control: Ensure design intent and quality standards are met through regular site inspections and collaboration with the design team.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
• Vendor Management: Source and negotiate with vendors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status, budgets, and milestones.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the interior design or architecture industry.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
• Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello)
• Familiarity with design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp)
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Work Conditions:

• Occasional travel to project sites and client meetings.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage shifting priorities.
